How to use the SIM card with the Cryptnox Smartcard Contact Reader (Tutorial)

IMPORTANT NOTICESMARTCARD CONTACT READER CAN ONLY READ ONE CARD AT A TIME
NEVER USE THE SMARTCARD SLOT AND SIM CARD SLOT AT THE SAME TIME
IF YOU HAPPEN TO PUT BOTH SMART CARD AND SIM CARD AT THE SAME TIME, REMOVE BOTH CARDS FROM THE READER GENTLY
AND INSERT THE CARD THAT YOU WANT TO USE FIRST

How to position the SIM card

As shown in the instruction below, the SIM card is required to be in the position where the chip is facing down (Back side of the SIM card on top ) in order to insert it into the Cryptnox Smartcard Contact Reader

How to insert the SIM card

Step 1

Make sure The SIM card is in the position of the chip facing down  insert the SIM card into the SIM slot which is above the smart card slot of the Cryptnox Contact Reader

Step 2

Gently insert the SIM card into the SIM slot of the Cryptnox Contact Reader

Step 3

Once the SIM card is properly seated in the SIM slot, it is ready to use
You are good to go!

Please Remember to  NEVER USE THE SMARTCARD SLOT AND SIM CARD SLOT AT THE SAME TIME
